Kosovo membership vote in Interpol postponed for another year

The vote for Kosovo's membership in Interpol is expected to be postponed for this year, as in last year's scenario. 

In a proposal to the paper, Foreign Affairs Minister Emmanuel Demaj's taskman, has said that several informal Kosovo partner states have already sought, to postpone voting for another year, until next year's General Assembly, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

“has the potential to delay the vote for next year. Countries that support Kosovo is required for the vote to be postponed. But this information is not yet official and will be officially known before the meeting of the UN General Assembly of Interpol”, Demaj has declared for the newspaper.

Although the reasons are not clear, Minister Demaj denies that even if that happens, it is due to lack of votes.
