Procrastination of institution formation is causing major damage to the country. Kosovo lost 15m euros from the International Monetary Fund, because the previously signed loan agreement in June failed due to early elections.
The IMF resident representative for Kosovo, Ruud Vermeulen, in a written response to Kohavision, has said the planned loan for Kosovo expired, as it was election time and the country was without Government.
On the other hand, American Economic Ode chief Arian Zeka has said the failure of this agreement would prevent the implementation of many projects ahead of this loan.
Kosovo had reached an economic agreement with the International Monetary Fund in 2015.
Its value was about 185m euros, in 22 months' length, which expired August 4th of this year. Kosovo has been part of this fund since 2009.
