Vetevendosje Movement MP Glauk Konjufca has accused the PAN coalition of deliberately not participating in the continuation of the constitutional session, as there are no numbers and wants only to approach MPs to change their political opinion.
He said in his address in Kosovo's Parliament, coalition The PAN must take political responsibility due to the boycott of the Kosovo Assembly.
It is unprecedented that what he tells himself is the winner of the election, and it is a proposal for the mayor that we do not come to the Assembly. They don't have the numbers. They don't want to go into opposition. We are tired of saying they're election winners and they have votes. If they're true then PAN is not in the country”, Conjufca said.
According to him, this situation has also been created as a result of a constitutional court ruling under which the president's election should be among those with the largest number of votes.
The “those who are continuing to boycott the assembly must assume moral and political responsibilities why they are holding him hostage. The PAN uncultacularly attacked the leader of this session, Adem Mikulovci. We express disagreement and are indignant to attack Adam Mikulov so unscrupulously. No one can have the veto right to continue this session. The PAN strategy aims to take time to approach separately the deputies they have ordered to change their political opinion. To buy time to meet the pressure and blackmailing deputies to convince them to vote on an unpopular candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament. We condemn this practice”, Conjufca said.
He said Vetevendosje Movement calls for the quick establishment of the Assembly, while IPAN cease the boycott and propose the candidate for chairman of the Assembly.
The rules of democracy say when you don't have the votes you have to compromise. The compromise we're asking you is not to set up a candidate that for the majority is unacceptable. There's no choice but to elect a chairman other than Kadri Wessel. Institutions cannot be kept blocked”, Konjufca said.
