Iran: 27 people bound to Islamic State arrested

Iran has announced that it has arrested 27 militants linked to the extremist group, the Islamic State, who have planned to carry out attacks in this country. Iran has announced that it has arrested 27 militants linked to the extremist group, the Islamic State, who have planned to carry out attacks in this country.
The Ministry of Intelligence has said the militants have been identified during exchanges of intelligence with one state of the region.
It has not mentioned the name of the state or when militants were arrested.
The ministry has said that 10 of them have been detained and sent to Iran, until 17 others have been arrested in the Islamic Republic.
According to the ministry, five of them have planned terrorist attacks at the centre of Iran's Shiite regions, while another 12 have supported them towards the attack.
The militant group, the Islamic state, has claimed responsibility for the two June 7th attacks on Iran's parliament and the temple of Ayatolah Khomeni in Tehran.
