The informal summit of prime ministers in Durres ends with messages for regional co-operation

The prime ministers of the Western Balkan states: Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and the leader of the Council of BiH, at the summit at which the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, and World Bank Vice President Cyril Muller, reached agreement on concrete steps to implement the Action Plan for the Regional Economic Zone, which was defined at the Trieste Summit.
The regular system for tracking the plan, under direct supervision of political representatives of the countries of the region, will be established.
“Governments must work in the interest of citizens. With the ease of co-operation on the economic plan there will be concrete results, for both citizens and companies in our countries and regional co-operation, and thus we will advance Euro-Atlantic integrations. The Republic of Macedonia continues with its constructive role in these processes”, said Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in his concluding speech at the Durres Summit, forwarded the Telegraph Macedonia.
The informal summit of Western Balkan heads of state with Commissioner Hahn and World Bank Deputy Chairman Mueller took place at the initiative of Republic of Albania Prime Minister Edi Rama at a resort in Durres.
The summit moved into a constructive atmosphere, with the impression of advancing good inter-ethnic relations that has been observed and welcomed by European Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn and senior representatives of the World Bank, who support the region's defeat on the Euro-Atlantic road.
