The impressions of Polish tourists reveal Albanian hotels

“Pushova in Durres. The hotel was young and abundant in space, with air conditioning, but on the side of the main road, the noises were huge. Food was scarce, you had to take turns for a steak and there were very few waitresses. You had no choice in food, for all the time were the same things, even [...]
Both this and the following impressions were given to Albanian hotels that the Polish agency Itaka had entered into contracts. Itaka is a major Polish agency that this summer has secured contracts with 12 hotels in Albania for all-incillative bids and has brought a considerable number of Polish tourists to Albania this year.
We also fired at the hotel “.” in Durres. The first week was catastrophic, but in the second week some things improved. The meals were very poor. Clearly, they are still in the beginnings of learning how to serve tourists, but why on our backs. I think they, before the season starts, have to take lessons for basic services to offer”, says another Polish tourist.
I stayed in the hotel a few days... but in Durres. As soon as I introduced myself to the hotel, things in the room weren't like the explanations on the offer. Then the day begins with great sadness, since one meal was not included as I had bought the offer all the recordings. After my persistent demands for my lunch consumption, he offered a cold meal with a piece of meat that was practically inhospitable. It was promised on the offer that the pool was free of grass, but this was not actually offered. The hotel had no coffee express. There was not enough food, it was tasteless, cold, and most meals were without meat and fish. The soup was rare. I didn't like the fact that many European flags were put on pending, it was also the US, but the Polish flag was missing. The local people did not even comprehend the importance of the flags, as it was offensive to us because the hotel was filled with Poles. Hotel advantage is location. Near the sandy beach, there were cafes and shops. I think organisers should sell this hotel with just breakfast, because other versions are simply not accessible”, says another Polish visitor to Durres.
I was at a hotel in Durres from 13 June to 20 June 2017 with a group of dozens of other Poles. The hotel was new, new equipment, and near the beach. The morning there was particularly rude to eat the first meal. Literally, there was nothing to eat. Some tomatoes, green salads, some spaghetti, some pieces of meat that were not enough for 10 people, watery soup, and so on. Despite our complaints the next day, nothing had changed, except soup and meat disappeared from the menu. The fish was cooked in oil, very thin, and extremely fried. In the morning, you were able to get only one horn, since tea and juice were often exhausted, and the cans were not filled again. It's not about candy, ice cream and fruit. There were no fun activities. I'm telling you, please abandon all the information offers, as you can eat extra money, as there are lots of vegetable stores in the area and other restaurants offering free meals. My costs were far more than the offer Itaka gave me. My vacations were ruined”, says another tourist for the hotel in which the Polish agency Itaka had entered the contract.
I stayed in Durres in July 2016 at the hotel... The surrounding area is the big drama, full of garbage and mud. The food was cold and always the same, a chicken served in various forms. The restaurant has no food heating equipment. I can't complain about the hotel room. Music was always loud every hour of the day, and we had the impression that it was in our room. The music was local, always loud, just unbearable. The water at sea was warm and swimming was the best thing there”, another Polish tourist has expressed.
I stayed in St. John's Hotel for seven days. I see you've made a lot of negative comments about this hotel, but the situation isn't that serious. The hotel is big because there are almost 500 rooms, so the fact that there are a lot of people shouldn't surprise anyone. The rooms are too big, the bathroom too. If you don't like the view, it's easy to change the room. For food and drink, please don't read the comments of grandparents or businessmen who are looking for superluks paying only 2,500 ZL (350 euros). Food that's tasty and not monotonous. Alcohol offerings include wine and beer. Seawater is warm, but you often have to fight to catch a Shezlong. Albania is not as filthy as you are writing here, many cities in Poland look worse, in terms of the hotel service. Albania is a very quiet place at night, we have walked as if we were in our country, not worrying at all. You don't have a chance to go shopping, but that's not a big failure. I don't usually make comments about hotels, but I'm very surprised that this hotel has been rated in a lower way”. These were the impressions of a Polish tourist resting last year in St.
I stayed in Durres. The hotel was clean and the towels were changed. Very bad food, and a theft was committed against us”, another Polish tourist is expressed.
I stayed in Durres for two weeks in September 2016. I really appreciate the hotel. The people who worked at the hotel were kind, and the owner was there all the time. The food was good and warm. Little poor breakfast and no sausages and hams were served, as we're used to. But my assessment is with the superlate for comfort and the friendly environment”, another tourist from Poland says.
I stayed in Durres a few days. Breakfast was like a slap on us. But you were able to consume free meals outside the offer in local restaurants. There was a lot on the beach that bothered you. Fruit vendors and other things didn't leave you alone for a minute, and street dogs were scary. They would rest next to us quietly in the sun. When dinner came, the mosquito lucre broke you. It was the first time in Albania, and I find it very difficult to tell you to go there”, says another Polish tourist.
I fired in Durres in September 2016. The price we pay the conditions is enough. The room had several small problems coming from construction, such as dirty tiles, but conditions generally are not bad, and the view is very good - from the sea. The hotel has its own chairs on the beach, the sand was clean, and it had a beautiful view from the roof to the ninth floor. Food also very good, a rather large selection of candy and fruit. Cleaning was daily. In general, Albanians still have some things to learn, but I think... It's one of the best hotels in this part of the Durres region. Personally, I've been satisfied”./ Monitor
