Hoxhaj: Kosovo must gain seat at UN

Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs Enver Hoxhaj has declared that Kosovo at the end of dialogue with Belgrade must become a member of the UN.

He in an interview for the Vienna newspaper “Der Standard” has said Kosovo should no longer talk about technical issues, except that dialogue with US and EU support goes to the final phase where Kosovo will gain its place in the UN, as well as Kosovo's accession on Serbia's part.

According to him, there are states in the world that do not accept each other but at least do not block UN membership.

According to Hoxhaj until Serbia recognises Kosovo state there can be no process of reconciliation between the two peoples.
