Parliamentary Group Chief LAA, Avdullah Hoti has demanded from the coalition PAN, in order to go public and show he doesn't have the votes, until he said LAA is waiting for the constitutional right to form government to come to them, then they will be open to coalitions with all political subjects, except for the PDK.
He said how the LAA, they testified that they were united and they wouldn't vote for Kadri Veselin until he invited. The PAN publicly claims not to have the majority, in order to find a solution to how to get out of this situation. Hoti has also commented on today's consultative meeting, called by Kosovo Assembly Speaker Adem Mikulovci, where, according to him, is in line with the PDK coalition's request. According to him, the LDK, along with coalition partners, has a clear stance that they will not vote Kadri Veselin for Speaker of the Parliament.
Hoti has also said that they are open to coalitions with all parties as well as AAK, Initiatives and others, but not for PDK.
“Of course our positions are clear, we will consider achieving coalitions with all parliamentary parties, excluding them PDK. The foundation of the agreements is the programme of the LDK and of our coalition that we have with other parties... not at this stage we expect the constitutional right to come to us to prove the establishment of government. At that moment we will start immediate negotiations with all political parties to approach positions for a joint government“, Hoti said.
As far as possible coalition with Vetevendosje is concerned, Hoti has said they have substantial differences but do not rule out the possibility of creating the coalition under programming conditions. As for the coalition with the AKR and Alternatives, he has said this has been proven so far.
As far as local elections are concerned, Hoti has said they are discussing within the LDK structures for potential candidates for each municipality.
Depending on the locality and specificities that have municipalities will strongly strive to build coalitions with other parties, Hoti said. He has added that candidates for municipalities will soon become public.
