Hussain al-Saket 22, was shot five times by a soldier before his body rises through a crane in front of a large crowd of people in Sana's JAese capital.
This is the second such execution in less than a month. Army officials said his public execution would be an obstacle for criminals.
Yemen's capital, Sanaa since 2014 has been controlled by Shiite Houthi rebels, said “Daily Mail”, the Periscope broadcast.
On July 31st, another man was executed in the same square after being convicted of rape and murder of a three-year-old girl.
