The Agency for Emergency Management and the Ministry of Internal Affairs as government co-ordinator for natural disaster management and other disasters, with KFOR support and assistance and participation of local and international institutions will develop field exercise “M A SCAL”, with the scenario of a commercial plane crash, resulting in mass injury.
This exercise will reportedly test the implementation of basic documents for emergency management in the Republic of Kosovo, as well as the readiness of local and international institutions present in Kosovo, for response and co-ordination during local character incidents.
The exercise will be held tomorrow 24 August at the Gjakova airport and will begin at 9:00.
