Candidate Enver Peci was appointed chairman of the Supreme Court after he managed to secure seven votes from the Kosovo Judiciary Council.
Candidate Valdete Daka received three votes, while the other candidate Erdogan Hadzibeqi had one vote.
No vote received candidate Nesrin Lushta.
Daka had complained about the previous process of appointing Peci for chairman, the ruling which Kosovo's Constitutional Court had declared invalid.
