Tillerson has voiced conviction that the strong mandate the Socialist Party has received to govern alone forces this political force to deepen reform speed, clear the administration of corrupt people and mark significant results in the fight against crime.
The American top diplomat has also told the Albanian prime minister of US government's support in the new mandate, while expressing the very positive impressions of Vice President Mike Pence, from last week's meeting in Montenegro, where the American will was reconfirmed for a focus on developments in the Balkan region.
Rama, for his part, has thanked the US Secretary of State for calling and has made a full mirror of the regional situation from the perspective of the Albanian state, focusing mainly on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, as well as the need for unlocking Macedonia's name stalemate. In addition, Prime Minister Rama has also called for intensifying co-operation with the US in the energy sector -- namely, oil and gas -- received with great interest by the American top diplomat.
