Authorities said Mark Asey was declared dead Thursday at 10:22 local evening.
He was the first white man to be executed in Florida for killing a black victim, reportedly according to the Center for Death Punishment Information.
Prosecutors claimed that Asay had racistly offended him before killing 34-year-old Robert Lee Booker, who belonged to the black race, reported “Al Jazeera”, the Periscope broadcast.
Asay was also convicted of killing 26-year-old Robert McDowell, who belonged to a mixed race of white and hepanic.
When asked if she wanted to make a final statement, she said: "No, sir, I have nothing to say. Thank you. ”
The execution protocol began at 10:10 local time (22:10 GMT). Within minutes he was motionless and was later declared dead by a doctor.
At least 20 black men have been executed for the murder of white victims since the state has restored the death penalty in 1976, according to data from the Death Punishment Information Centre.
Asay received an injection of three drugs that began with anesthetic and ethomidas.
Ethomidata is the first of three drugs, which has been administered in implementing death sentences in Florida. This drug had replaced the mid - resolution.
Ethomidate is followed by the rocourour, a paralytic, and finally aceta potassium that stops the heart.
While the Supreme Court of State has approved the use of the ethnodata, some experts have criticised drugs as untested.
State correctional officials have defended the election, saying it has been reviewed./Periscopi/
