As soon as possible, it has suggested that the created situation be resolved, the US Embassy in Pristina.
Ambassador Greg Delaway has made it clear that the time has come for Kosovars themselves to find solutions, without waiting for foreigners to do so.
“I think what we should see is the Kosovo solution. Math is inconsistent. You have three groups, each of which has approximately 1/3 of the deputies. Clearly, there must be some compromise and there must be compromises derived from Kosovars themselves, not the compromise created by foreigners, Delawie has told KTV.
Delawie has added that his message is to all parties and none individually, when asked how it should be done since the winning coalition of elections, PANUE does not have the parliamentary majority.
I think it is really important that all Kosovo politicians find a way to put their country's interests first, not their families or their political parties, but the interests of the country. It is really important that Kosovo has the Parliament; that Kosovo has the Government. The world simply will not expect Kosovo to find itself. The world is moving forward and Kosovo must move, too. This place has to end. And, I would encourage all politicians here to find a way to push Kosovo's interests forward; to push forward the interests of Kosovo citizens, he has said.
Delaway has also talked about dialogue with Serbia, suggesting that it is stuck at the moment and has encouraged the parties to move on with the process.
I don't know what President Vuciq has in mind, but I'm certainly happy to hear him talk about compromise and acceptance of reality. Of course, for Kosovo and Serbia, normalising relations between the two countries is essential for both to progress towards European institutions, which the two countries speak about. Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has brought real positive benefits for Kosovo, such as Kosovo. Customs tax collection at the northern border, police integration, and such. But you can't deny that the dialogue has recently stalled. I think it's very important, at least for the interests of Kosovo, that dialogue regain energy and that both countries work towards normalisation, which is devoted to”, Delawi said.
The Kosovo Assembly has failed Thursday for the fourth time to elect the Speaker of the Parliament, since the coalition that should propose it, PAN is not participating in the work of the Parliament.
