The Central Election Commission is expected to complete this month's certificate process of political subjects. All candidacys will be considered if they are in line with the laws in force, says CEC spokesman Valmir Elesi. In the event of rejection, the political subject could file complaints to the Electoral Panel for Ances and Parastres.
All candidacy submitted by political subjects to the CEC for the October 22nd municipal elections will be considered if they are in accordance with the law. Certificate of lists is expected to be completed by the end of this month. So states CEC spokesman Valmir Elez.
“The CEC, based on the Law on General Elections and Law for Local Elections, will complete this month's certificate process of political subjects. The office for registration of political parties and certificates will review all accepted applications, so all candidates if they are in accordance with the law and will submit to the CEC the relevant recommendations for each subject”, Elesi told Radio Kosovo.
He claims the CEC's decision will be on the basis of recommendations coming from the office for the party registration.
“The recommendation may be due or may be subject to a certificate of candidate list. To the CEC's decision, if the certificate of candidate list has been rejected, the political subject could file a complaint at the Election Panel for Ances and Parashtesa”, Elesi said.
In such cases, the office, during the review of the applications, may require political subjects to make the corrections or metations needed.
