High temperatures have caused many fires throughout Kosovo. In many municipalities the mountains are on fire while fire crews are on the ground.

As the situation gets worse, the head of the Emergency Management Agency is on break. There is no known damage while additional fire-fire teams are required.

Pristina's fire centre stressed it is working with full capacities to be ready for any possible risks.

Blerim Gashi, deputy chief of change at the Centre, says there have been 16 interventions in the past 24 hours.

It has been known that the biggest problems have been faced in the Fushe Kosova and Obilic area because of field fires.

While Veli Gashi, fireman in the Fushe Kosovo area, says they need to increase capacity.

That's because at this time you can't afford existing capabilities.

As the fires continue, the Batlava, Istog, Lipjan, and many other places, Fadil Kodra, head of the Agency for Emergency Management, is on vacation.

So this agency is unable to speak or assess the current situation.

And the risk of fire is growing.
