The resident, who has voted, has paid taxes in Britain, health insurance for two decades has been ordered to leave the country immediately. And that was even though he was born in Britain. Shane Ridge, from Colne, Lancashire has lived in Britain since he was born, as he describes himself as British, writes Dailymail, follows Periscope.
But last week, the 21-year-old whose parents are British, has received a terrible letter suggesting that there is no evidence to be in Great Britain.
But Ridge's mother, who was born in Australia during her family vacation but who lived in Britain, has two citizenships.

At the same time, Ridge's parents have never married, which he does not have the right to automatically obtain the right to be British. But he has to use his right to apply to become a resident based on his father's residence, which has British citizenship.
And British laws say that if a child was born before July 2006, and the father has British citizenship he automatically passes the right if the mother and father were married on the date of birth.
Applications would be accepted if the child automatically is a native of this country if his parents were married.
But Ridge left this job in oblivion because he had no idea that citizenship rights are automatic.
This is not fair. I've just received a letter telling me I have to leave the country”, he says.

At the same time, it shows what has disturbed him most of the letter he has received.
The one that bothered me the most was the sentence... I'm English. I don't know what to say.
The letter coming from the Migration Centre is further said to have to cancel the license, voluntarily release the country, or pay the 5,000-pound fine.
I'm very confused, I have to leave the country, leave the family and go live in a foreign country. I don't understand that. I was born in Britain. I'm married, I pay the state taxes, I've opened the bank. I've been driving for five months while I've had my permission since I was 17x1>, he said.
So far there has never been a problem, but this problem has started since last year.
Nothing stopped me with the British passport until I applied for a visa last year to go on vacation with my fiancée and was rejected”, he said.

But he said he was going to apply for the site, because his father was born in Britain.
Ridge has already been given Australian passports after her mother was born there.
I'm feeling terrible. My parents tell me everything's gonna be okay. My girlfriend's feeling really bad. /Periscopi
