BIXCHICH called for the victims to be sacrificed in licensed slaughterhouses

The Islamic Community of Kosovo through a media report appeals to believers not to fall prey to certain individuals in connection with the slaughter of the victims.

According to BIK, the slaughter of offerings is made according to religious standards and on licensed slaughter sites.

We are on the eve of the Kurban Bajrami holiday, which, as it is known, is one of the main holidays for Muslims. The festival of Kurban Bajrami comes as believers conduct one of the fundamental conditions of religion, Haxhin. It is only for the believers to slaughter and sacrifice at such a time. The slaughter of the sacrificial offering is to be reckoned with by Islamic law, and we are bound to observe it all.

As traditionally, BIK's Headship organises the collection of means for slaughtering the offerings collectively. Sacrifice order is made on local councils, in mosques everywhere Kosovo and at other points authorised by the BIK headship in Kosovo, in the diaspora near Albanian mosque centres, as well as through the accounts specifically opened for this purpose.

For this reason, BIK's Headship has formed the special Commission, which deals with organising and overseeing the action to gather means for slaughtering the victims.

However, BIK's headship is concerned with the action of some individuals who are amassing supplies from believers on behalf of the slaughter of offerings. BIK's leadership informs the faithful and all interested ones who want to order for the slaughter of the offerings to be done in personal capacity or to order the slaughter at the BIC institution, for it must first be met by religious standards required by religious standards. The word is here for the animal that will be slaughtered for sacrifice. Also, the organization for the slaughter of the dome requires meeting the pre - law conditions in order to maintain public health. The slaughter of offerings should be done at the slaughterhouses, which meet the hygienic and food safety conditions preceding standards and are under surveillance by veterinarians and food technologists. We prefer to the faithful not to fall into the mouths of various individuals when it comes to slaughtering the sacrificial offering, for the offering must be taken into account that it is a religious ordinance, but at the same time be responsible for the slaughter by respecting the religious principles and hygieno-sanitary conditions as a whole.
