During the first six months of this year 490.677 apps have been submitted for remuneration in the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK).
According to official data, during the first quarter of this year there have been 354,215 apps, while in the second quarter they have been noticeably less, 136,462 apps, the Voice writes.
ATK officials say that after changing the form of compensation has dropped numbers, but, according to them, still remains satisfactory.
With a view to having been the first period after changing the form of reimbursement, we can freely say that interest has been satisfactory. As you know, for TM2 2017, 136,462 citizens have applied, which if we compare it to the first time the campaign started, we have about 4-5 times more applications. While for TM1 2017 the number of citizens who have applied has been 354.215”, said Valentina Bytyqi Sefa, from the Office for Communication with the Public in ATK.
Even with the new remuneration model ATK expects citizens to increase their interest in demanding fiscal coupons after any purchase.
