Supermarkets in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands have removed eggs, allegedly contaminated. A German official said that up to 10 million eggs with toxic chemicals may have been sold in Germany.
The Netherlands is Europe's largest egg exporter, one of the largest in the world.
