The baby from Halepi who learned karate in the middle of war aims to become champion

Nur Setut, six-year-old from Helep, who was born in 2011, when civil war began in Syria, dreams of the world championship in karate, which she learned from her mother and father during wartime, reports Anadolu Agency (AA). Nur's mother and father, karate trainers, have offered him [...]
Speaking of AA, Nur relates that they went to the sports room to perform exercises at the time when bombings stopped at Halyp, in addition to having no means in the hall. However, she has not stopped practicing during the bombing just because she has accomplished them at home with her parents. Nur aims to ensure high degrees in the future in this combat sport. “I want to become world champion and person known”, she adds.
In the meantime, Vasim Setut, Nuri's father, shows that he and his wife have made an effort to instill love for this sport in their daughter's heart, and for this reason they have trained her with a special program. He says that he and Nuri went to the sports hall, while his wife had been involved in the training program and, in addition, watched online videos about the sport. During last year's evacuations, we were forced to abandon Hale. We settled in the village of Kefer Carmin, west of Aleppo. Even here we continue training”, Seth indicated, adding that after settling in this village, they have requested training facilities that they found in an abandoned house. Sethut says Nur has offered performances on organised activities in the village and that it has become known throughout the village.
Our options here are limited. It wasn't easy getting Nur to this level. I've been looking for used karate clothes for Nurs, but I couldn't find them first. I managed to find them after a long search into a pile of clothes in a local warehouse”, Nur's father, Vasim Setut, confessed.
