August 22nd is the last date when political subjects will decide whether to enter the race for local elections as one or as a coalition.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has said the deadline for submitting applications to be certified for participation in local elections is 22 August.
Therefore, by this date political subjects must submit lists of mayoral candidates and to the municipal assembly”, he said.
According to him, so far in the CEC there is no closed application.
“Surely there has been interest in the conditions which must be met to apply”, Elez told Kosovapress.
He added that preparations for local elections are going according to the previous dynamic.
