But all of this depends on the vote of Serbian deputies in the Kosovo Assembly.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said that a final event agreement with Serbia should be “taken to referendum”, so that it does not remain the victim of interparty debates.
He has declared that this is the best way to avoid turning it into a topic for political folklore while seeking unity in these talks.
But this initiative by President Thaci is being deemed inappropriate and dependent on the Serbian List.

President Hashim Thaci has since been elected president has established various initiatives that have failed him.
Thaci had promised in February 2014 that the KSF would be transformed into the Kosovo Armed Forces as a whole of one country's armed forces. But that is not because he has not received the Serbian List's support.
