According to the American Embassy, meetings have had the focus on talking about partnership between the United States and Albania, as well as issues of security co-operation, defence and the fight against terrorism.
A delegation of four senators from the United States visited Albania today to negotiate the partnership between the United States and Albania, as well as issues of security co-operation, defence and the fight against terrorism. Senators Blunt, Cornyn, Cotton, and Tillis met with President Ilir Meta, government officials, and Democratic Party leaders to underline Albania's importance in regional stability, efforts to combat terrorism, and the importance of implementing key reforms, including reform in justice”, the US Embassy reportedly.
