Found in Albanian Sea, ship killed 100 years ago, that's what's inside it

In the waters of the Ionian Sea, a large ship has been found, within which heavy weapons have been recorded and allegedly killed 100 years ago.

The news has been made known by National Coast Agency Director Auron Tare, who said the vessel was found near the Karabun Peninsula.

It's a civilian ship equipped with machine guns and used for military purposes. The ship is well guarded, it is found in the deep, and it appears to have been hit when it was at sea”, Tare said.

It further explains that the ship was found within the framework of co-operation between the National Coast Agency and American pipeline specialists.

“It is thought that the ship was shipwrecked during World War I, hit by a convoy of Austrian submarines, which patrolled the Adriatic Sea from the Kotor base”, Tare said.

The relic has been discovered at a depth of 50 to 60 meters below Karaburun. His verification has not yet been made, even though work has begun to verify and consult all tragedies that took place about 100 years ago on Albanian coasts.
