An unarmed ballistic missile “Minuteman III” was removed at 2:10 from the U.S. Air Force Base north of Vandenberg, some 210 km (130 km) northwest of Los Angeles, the Periscope broadcast reported.
Testing this ballistic missile has come to test and verify the effectiveness, readiness and accuracy of the field system”, General Command Air Force Colonel Michael Hough said.
“Our long history in partnership with the men and women of “Flight Test Team 576” indicates that “Western Gama” is ready and capable of creating a safe launch environment”, Hough said.

This is the fourth launch launched by the Wanderberg base of the Baltic Intercential Rocket.
The latest launch of “Minuteman III” occurred several days after North Korea tested a long-range projector estimated by American and South Korean soldiers as an Interctinctical Baltic Race (ICBM).
The North Korean Intercstinctical Baltic missile was launched last Friday from an area in Mupyong, travelling about 1,000km (621 km) before landing on the Sea of Japan.
