Agim Ali took the race for Ferizaj, says he had <x0back requests”

PDK deputy and former Ferizaj leader Agim Aliu has confirmed his own nomination for Ferizaj's chairmanship in the October elections.

Aliu says there have been unlined demands of everyone to run for this position.

This is Ali's full Facebook writing:

Dear and highly respected citizens of Ferizaj!

You who have always supported and supported me.

You, who have always made me happy and proud to be part of you.

Today, after your repeated demands, the demand that was addressed in all forms, I decided once again to be part of the race for Ferizaj's first. This decision was not easy for me and my family because I felt morally obliged to be your voice in the change Ferizaj already needs for the return of harmony between citizens without the distinction of belonging or political overtones, as well as the need for equal treatment for all of you.

Dear citizens, we all know that the family is holy, but for me you have no less holiness; for you are the ones who made me and my family feel so well with the faith and respect that you have shown me throughout my political life, so I decided to listen to your voice.

Being conscious and deeply convinced that, for my family, my candidacy for Ferizaj's chief will not be easy, I thank them from the heart for support, and I also ask for understanding them as they have always understood me whenever we had to sacrifice for the good of the country.

I also have special thanks for all my friends, colleagues and political collaborators who constantly supported me on this political road!

Dear citizens,

You who have the power to change! I want to thank you once again for the honour and respect you have shown for me and yet I promise you that together we will try to build a Ferizaj for which we will all be proud and who will stand up and take the model of all Kosovo municipalities.
