Rexhep Kadriou expressed happiness in the belief that the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has given him to run for mayor of the Gjilan municipality, when he appeared at the conference alongside party chief Ramush Haradinaj on Tuesday.

Kadriu, who is currently deputy chairman of the Gjilan municipality, aims after 22 October to lead the municipality of Gjilan.

The head of the AAK branch in Gjilan has a distinctive feature. He owns a million-dollar fortune.

In its declaration of property for 2017 at the Anti-Corruption Agency (AKK), Kadriu has declared assets of approximately 3m euros exactly 2 million and 858 thousand euros. And all these riches, Kadri has declared them by name.

2m 436 thousand of 811 euros is the value of real estate owned by the deputy head of the Gjilan municipality. Rexhep Kadriu has declared two houses and four residences as real estate. In addition, he has declared nine land parcels, some of which, as he himself stated in the AKK, he uses them for business.

Out of this wealth, Rexhep Kadriu has justified his coming from his family's legacy, his savings and his businesses' income.

Meanwhile, Kadriu has declared 422 thousand euros of valuable wealth in declaring property for 2017.

In this piece of property Kadriu has declared two limo cars, Mercedes types and Passes. The whole of Kadriu's playful wealth is derived from his private businesses, reports Insander.

In addition, Gjilan's presidential candidate has declared that he has deposited about 16 thousand euros of cash at the bank, for his children.
