AAK chairmanial member Muharrem Nitaj has confirmed that the AAK will also participate in the continuation of the constitutional session Thursday at 10:00, as will MPs from two other parties, part of the PAN coalition.
However, Nitaj, though the day before the session was held, hints that PAN is still unable to secure the votes for chief parliament.
“Next to the PAN deputies will participate in the session, but the success of the president's vote and vice-presidents of the Parliament depends, not on the hearing, but on the awareness and responsibility of MPs who are destined to be constitutionally”, Nitaj said.
On the other hand, he said that if MPs do not like the model for electing the constitutionally defined prime minister, then he calls for a change from the Assembly for the next mandate.
“The situation about institution creation needs to be resolved. No one has the comfort of bringing about the constitution and the constitutional court ruling. According to the legal framework, the chairman of the Assembly belongs to the PAN and is not in anyone's discretion to change this constitutional norms. It can't be the PAN's discretion, I assign to others who will be vice president of LAA or VV for example, but they can't condition it either. The PAN, who they're going to appoint as head of”, the AAKA spokesman said away.
The political forces have to move from this position and unlock the situation created about the complete institution of the Parliament. The question of government creation is another one, and there political opponents can show their political power, not in the unwillingness of formalism of a candidate that is also defined with constitution”, Nitaj told Gazeta Express on Wednesday.
Otherwise, Nitaj party chief Ramush Haradinaj, who is coalition mandater PAN, at a morning conference, told of the possibility of delaying Thursday's session, even though that date was set by the winning coalition of the June 11th elections.
Thursday's hearing was called from the Assembly for 10:00.
