At the time Macedonia's parties, either new Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, are expressing speculation and reservations about the Albanian platform, additional options for resolving the Albanian issue in Macedonia are increasingly emerging.
Not seldom by protagonists of political forces, but political analysts also hear Plan B, or the idea of federalising or redefining Macedonia, INA news agency reports.
The most vocal in this direction is LR-DPA leader Ziadin Sela, who has declared that if Macedonians do not accept Albanian, Albanians will create their own Parliament in Macedonia.
“We will leave that parliament and make the parliament of Albanians and then formalise Albanian where Albanians are.
We've had enough of this for 25 years, now it's been a moment for me to settle the Albanian language case within 100 days. If this is not achieved, we will start to build our institutions, build the parallel state, because we no longer have time to wait”, Ziadin Sela has indicated.
Renowned Kosovo Professor and analyst Avni Mazrek in a statement to INA news agency says Macedonia cannot survive without Albanians.
According to him, ethnic Albanians as the biggest taxpayers keep Macedonia's economy and stability alive.
The “more than half of the state budget ark is filled by Albanians living in Macedonia and the diaspora. They contribute to the macroeconomic and microeconomic stability of this country. And what do they receive in return? Almost nothing. And that's very easy to prove if we see the growing differences between Albanian and Macedonian areas”, Mazreku says.
It calls for boycotting the Macedonian state if it continues to reject the realisation of Albanian fundamental rights.
According to him, Albanian political parties are also guilty of the serious situation of Albanians in this state.
Albanian parties have a negative role in Macedonia. They feel inferior and do not properly articulate the demands of Albanians, who had to reflect socially, economic and wider. If any Albanian leader in Macedonia calls on Albanians not to pay taxes in the state, Macedonia would not survive”, Mazreku points out.
According to him, 70 percent of taxes in Macedonia come from Albanians until Albanians are given only 3 percent.
