The church, which has been a strong supporter of Vuciki's policies, has now turned against, urging Serbs not to give up on Kosovo.
Exactly against Vuciqi has been the first of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Serbian Patriarch Irney.
“calls on our citizens that they never give their consent to the alienation of Kosovo and Metohija, because what has been taken by force must be returned and what is donated is permanently lost”, Irney said, reports the exception.hr.
Reports between the Serbian Government and Presidency with the Orthodox Church have been extremely close in recent decades by being mutually supportive in different situations, especially when Kosovo has been in question.
This is the first time the Orthodox Church does not support the Serbian state in relation to politics towards Kosovo. /Insider. com
