Despite news of several Albanian media that the government of Tirana and Belgrade have agreed to release Ismail Morina, who continues to remain arrested in Croatia, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic reacts by stressing that Serbia would not negotiate for Morina's case because it does not negotiate cases of criminal acts.
“We have carried out our work and we expect the decision”, Vucic said in Kraguyevc, unwilling to comment on Serbian media, which continue to stress that Albania is in an attempt not to allow extradition while adding that the media write everything.
“Linked to this issue we have nothing to talk about, nor to negotiate with anyone”, Vucic stressed, warning that ahead of the Serbian state are difficult days on the eve of the anniversary of the operation “The storm”, during which hundreds of thousands of Serbs from Croatia have left, following the crimes they committed against the innocent Croat population.
Morina is currently in custody in Dubrovnik, where he is arrested under the Serbian international arrest sheet, and then Serbia's Justice Ministry has requested his extradition to Belgrade.
The District Court in Dubrovnik has ruled on the extradition of Morina, a decision his lawyer has complained to in Croatia's Supreme Court, and the verdict is expected.
Meanwhile, proceedings against Morina continue in Belgrade because they feared to raise the ethnic Albanian flag on the football field, where the Serbia-Albania match was playing. The Serbian court charges him with the criminal act of inciting religious and national hatred.
