German Ambassador to Kosovo Angelika Viets, says internationals do not want to be involved in forming new government.
But it says that they just want to remind Kosovo politicians of the issue to solve with great responsibility, as the country has enormous problems, which are also big challenges at once.
These comments are made by Viets in the second continuation of the interview for the newspaper “Voice”, adding that the criteria for visa liberalisation with the EU other than demarcation is the fight against organised crime and corruption. According to her, other steps must be taken within the framework of fighting organised crime and corruption, including the seizure of illegally acquired property.
During this interview, she has also talked about the involvement of President Thaci in dialogue with Serbia, with whom she stressed that each form of dialogue which leads to normalising relations between the two countries is welcome, while representatives who conduct this dialogue have a mandate to do so. “in this case I think the president has a mandate to develop a dialogue in terms of normalising relations”, the Viets have managed.
