Albanians in the Presevo Valley, according to the only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Fatmir Hasani, are the most discriminated part of the nation, so a care of two Albanian states is required.
Problems and institutional procrastination in the two Albanian states, both in the Republic of Albania and in Kosovo, according to the only Albanian MP, Fatmir Hasani, is being reflected greatly in the Presevo Valley, unable to realise the fundamental demands of Albanians in this area by Serbian state authorities in Belgrade.
An interest in the mother state in Albanian rights would increase pressure on government officials in Serbia has said Hasani.
The “is true that all problems, procrastinating as in Kosovo as in Albania are reflected in us enough because we are a minority in Serbia very little cared for by the mother's”, Hasani told RTK.
He is optimistic about the fastest formation of the Government of Kosovo and its reflection towards Albanians in the Valley.
“We hope that it will not happen that the past will not occur in terms of receiving a mandate”, he said.
In Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja currently live at around 80 thousand Albanians. While as a result of different circumstances from here, more than 30,000 Albanians have left over the past two decades.
