United States President Donald Trump said America “is committed to preserving peace and security in Central Europe”.
Speaking in Warsaw, at a joint media conference with Polish President Andreze Duda, Trump said the US is working with Poland to answer Russia's “actions and its destabilising behaviour”.
Our strong alliance with NATO and Poland remains key to preventing conflicts and ensuring that the war between major powers will never destroy Europe” again, Trump said.
In Warsaw, Trump will meet leaders of Central and Eastern Europe, while giving a speech from the Krasinx Square.
Later, Trump will travel to Hamburg, where, Friday, he will participate in the G20 Summit, or group of more industrialized countries.
In margins on this summit, Trump will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
