Food at Tetovo's “Lear”, where 23 people yesterday have presented slight symptoms of poisoning, was properly distributed, preserved and served, in the original and adequate supply of use, as the dining room meets the necessary hygienic conditions, for which no provision has been laid for its closure, Macedonia's Food Agency and Veterina (AUV) announced today.
The AUV inspectors in co-operation with the Sanitary Inspection yesterday have made extraordinary checks at the factory from Tetovo.
In order to confirm the reasons for showing poisoning, the inspection services have received samples for laboratory testing, which has been served, from the working surfaces in the dining room, as well as from the employed person who served the food, where additional medical check-in has been carried out”, informs AUV.
The agency will continue to follow the case and inform the opinion of any innovation regarding it.
At the same time, citizens appeal under high temperatures and high risk from food decay and poisoning, to be careful where they buy food, to supply it from registered operators where safety criteria are maintained, and toʹte account for personal hygiene and hygiene during preparation and food storage.
