Thaci, in the presence of Serbia's participants, Ivica Dacic, has said that Kosovo, as a sovereign state, also has the constitutional obligation to form the military, which will take place in partnership with NATO, says Klan Kosova.
“We are sovereign and have constitutional right to this”, the Kosovo president said.
He has also talked about dialogue with Serbia, which he said is Kosovo's pledge to continue towards normalising relations.
It is our commitment to continue dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. We are aware that we have come to a point, in a new process, which should end with the full normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade”.
The president of S dealt with Kosovo's achieved results in the fight against violent extremism.
We don't have any citizens moving to Syria in the last year. In this direction Kosovo has co-operated with all international partners, though it has been deprived of being part of organisations like Interpol”.
We will continue to be very active in fighting extremism, radicalism and whatever else is represented by”.
The 12th edition of the Dubrovnik Forum has opened today by Croatia's prime minister, Andrej Plenkovic.
This year's edition theme is “The Adriatic-Mediterranean Co-operation and the security of Southeast European countries”.
