Thaci congratulates Meta on election president

Republic of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has congratulated Ilir Meta on the occasion of swearing in as president of Albania.

Thaci's full post:

On behalf of the presidency of the Republic of Kosovo and on my behalf, Mr. Ilir Meta, on the occasion of taking the oath and taking the new task.

I am convinced that, in line with its constitutional obligations, as a factor of the unity of Albanian society, President Meta will serve the spirit of consensus, dialogue and inter-institutional and entire Albanians.

As president of the Republic of Kosovo, I express my full willingness to co-operate in deepening political, economic and cultural relations between our countries. HTH.
