On social networks, a video of a group of young people recently appeared, reportedly revealing the remaining parts of Pablo Escobar's cartel plane in the waters of the Bahamas.
This plane crashed during the 1980s near Normans Kay Island. This island had served as a center where the “Medellín” had smuggled cocaine during their secret operations from 1978 to 1982. At the top of these operations was Carlos Lehder, often said to have revolutionized drug smuggling.
Drugs were trafficked in the United States. The remaining parts of Curtis C-46 Commando aircraft are still found in the waters around Normans Kay Island.
This plane and many others have been used to transport large quantities of cocaine.
