The American hitman, who got his nickname because of raising his victims to hide the time of his death, was sentenced to five murders.
Kuklinski has committed the first murder at the age of 14, and says he has killed about 100- 250 people in all.
The cold - blooded killer has given many interviews where he has spoken openly about his executions, but in an interview in 1991, he has shown the only crime he has repented of.
There was a man begging me and begging, I guess. During his breath he said “please God”
I told him you have half an hour to pray to Yahweh, and if God comes down to change the circumstances, I will spare you your life.
But God didn't show up. And it didn't change the circumstances. That's it. It wasn't a good thing. That's the only thing I shouldn't have done.
After 18 months of investigation, Kuklinski was found guilty and sentenced in 1986 for five murders.
After escaping the death penalty, he was sentenced to life imprisonment. Richard Kuklinski died at the age of 70 in 2007.
