Special Court confirms: We're ready (Video)

Kosovo's “Specialised Chambers (DHSK) have been operating since last year, but with today's entry into force of the procedure and test settings, the Specialised Chambers are fully functional in the judiciary. Starting today, there are no legal obstacles to receiving any identification or charges from the Specialised Prosecutor's Office”, said further in electronic communication.

While Justice Ministry officials told him RTV Dukagjin has no knowledge whether the Special can start work Wednesday.

Lawyer Arianan Koci, although he says that the Special may surprise by actions, does not believe that there may be arrests by September.

Lawyer Koci and his team still do not know whether they will take any KLA figures in defence, even though they say they have already specialised in this matter and much more starting with the Lushtaku case.

The Special Court, which was formed with the votes of Kosovo Assembly deputies, will judge only the alleged crimes of the Kosovo Liberation Army. /Telegraphy/
