Sheriff: Thaci continues with the old one, is going to talks with Vucinqi without the Parliament's permission

Kosovo Initiative Secretary Bilal Sheriff has pressed serious charges towards Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who today announced his trip to Brussels and his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, to discuss initial ideas on continuing dialogue with Serbia.

Sheriff, he said Thaci is continuing with the old”, writes Periscopi.

Sheriff said Thaci, who was chairman of The PDK, with which the Initiative is in the coalition today, must wait until the new Parliament and the new government are formed to continue with dialogue with Serbia.

According to the Sheriff, going to talks without the Parliament's authorisation undermines Kosovo's position in the future negotiation process.

Hashim Thaci continues with the old!

First should the assembly, released by the June 11th parliamentary elections this year, be established and then started with an internal Posit-Oposital dialogue (in the function of building a joint platform) about how the state of Kosovo should in the future approach dialogue with Serbia. Then and only when the National Consensus on this issue is reached can it be taken to Brussels on behalf and in protection of the platform agreed on by Pozia and Opposition. Instead of doing so, Hashim Thaci makes it quite the opposite!

He today via information on his Facebook page, informs the public that he has decided tomorrow to go to Brussels to meet with Serbia's president, so that, as he says in his announcement: “to discuss and exchange with him, initial ideas about how to continue dialogue in the new phase and goals intended to be achieved under the normalisation process”. In his same statement, he requires political parties to support him and to get involved in the concept of talks he claims to build together with Vucinqi.

So, as seen by his announcement, Hashim Thaci, just as acting in the prime minister's quality, first went to Brussels, spoke, signed agreements, then, at times informed the public and not the public, now even in the quality of the country's president continues with the old, first will go to Brussels to meet with Vuciqi and then inform the public of products derived from dialogue!

This action of his at this time and in this way, as if I said it above, without creating institutions out of the June 11th elections of this year, the assembly and government, without first building a Consensus Nacional for the form, way and content of future dialogue with Serbia, even without authorization from the Parliament of Kosovo, is wrong and harmful, and as only would it weaken Kosovo's position in the future negotiation process!
