O SEU empowers Kosovo institutions to fight high-level corruption

Six Kosovo police officials, two special prosecutors and two Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency investigators will make up the key group of experts who will participate in the previous activities in the project, including roundtable discussions, seminars, an advanced training for financial crimes investigations, a study visit to the Italian Police in Rome, as well as a conference on fighting corruption that will be held in Pristina.
The project's activities have been structured so that participants can provide deep information about the amended Code of Criminal Procedure and other legal acts regarding the conduct of police and prosecutors in the discovery and prosecution of criminal acts in the area of high-level corruption, as well as the best practices in fighting it.
Besides members of the core group, project activities will also be followed by experts, representatives of the Financial Intelligence Unit, Tax Administration, Police Inspectorate, Procureing Organisations, Public Procurement Rules Commission, Kosovo Customs and the Kosovar Privatisation Agency.
