Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said the new phase of dialogue means closing this process with a historic agreement between the parties.
After this statement by the president of Kosovo, however, Serbs have reacted, as Blitz writes with his sources within the government of Serbia, says there will be no such agreement.
Thaci, writes Blic, made this statement after meeting in Brussels with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who was mediated by European diplomacy chief Federica Moghrini, writes news.
Although such a statement can be said that Brussels has taken a step forward in dialogue and that this agreement in principle will be reached, such a thing has been flatly denied by Serbian government sources for media in question.
“Nothing has agreed”, state government source.
At Monday's meeting, it is agreed to continue dialogue and implement already reached agreements.
Restart of the dialogue could take place after a month and a half.
The latest round of dialogue was held in Brussels on 1 February. Meanwhile, presidential elections in Serbia and early parliamentary elections in Kosovo have been held.
Official Brussels says that after a break, contact with both sides should begin soon for continued dialogue.
