Blakaj is one of the convicts in the biometric passport scandal along with Natalie Veliaj.
He's been serving a six-year sentence for money laundering.
Two years ago he was hospitalised for surgery.
While it has been under discussion, several times within the year it is suspected that correctional officers have enabled it to leave the KKUK, to go and spend the nights at his residence in Pristina.
