Selimi: If Thaci does not respect VV mandate rights, he will face citizens

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has declared today that he will implement the Constitutional Court's 2014 decision regarding the mandate for forming government institutions in Kosovo.

Contacted by Indexline, deputy from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks, Rexhep Selimi has stated that if, anyone who does not have the numbers will try to usurp Vetevendosje Movement's victory, he will assume responsibility for any situation then created.
“If Thaci does not respect the mandate's right to have most LVV partners, then he will face the determination of citizens to defend the vote and victory”, Selimi has said.
Asked whether all this means that Kosovo can also face protests, such as the approach of citizens to oppose this, Selimi has described that for this, citizens will decide on their own, because according to him they know the issue.
Otherwise, the country's president, that the Constitutional decision in 2014 is clear and leaves no room for political interpretations, even in the event of the failure to form institutions by the winning coalition, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative for Kosovo.
The June 11th elections won the PAN coalition with 33.92 per cent, followed by the Vetevendosje Movement with 27.16 per cent and the LDK-AKR-Alternative coalition with 25.79 per cent.
