A bag of dust samples collected on the moon is expected to be sold for $4 million at an auction where there will be other things from space.
The auction will be held next week in New York, in Sothesby Center, where the flight plan from Apollo 13, American astronaut's guise, NASA-made Gus Grisom, and lunar photos will be among the items that will be displayed.
The auction will be held for marking the 48th anniversary of its first arrival on the moon.
On this astronaut flight, Neil Amstrong picked up dust samples.
It doesn't matter which religion you belong to, or where you're from and what language you're from, and what language you speak”, said under Sotheby's head, Cassandra Hatton.
“All of us have experienced the feeling of looking up in the sky thinking about what's going on among the stars”.
The dust bag has been considered lost for years, although it has been in a box in the Houston space center.
One time it was stolen, until now the owner of this bag is the Chicago lawyer Nancy Lee Carlson.
