The deal in question was announced after the bilateral meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who met in Hamburg, Germany, under the G-20 Summit.
White House National Security Council Herbert R. McMister, stressing that the ceasefire agreement southwestern Syria agreed on by the US and Russia will come into force today at 12 o'clock local time, has announced that non-conflict territories in question constitute a priority for the US and that progress achieved with this agreement promises hope, reports the Anadolu Agency (AA).
McMister, in a statement, has praised the US and Russian ceasefire agreement in Syria.
Making it known that the agreement in question has been reached between the US, Jordan and Russia, McMister has been further expressed: Russia's “government and Jordan after reaching this agreement have spoken with many leaders at the G-20 Summit, including US President Donald Trump, President Recep Tayyp Erduğan, British Prime Minister Theresa May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. U.S. to beat DEAS, to provide assistance in ending the crisis in Syria and to ensure people return to their homes are doing what they can. This agreement is an important step from the standpoint of these common goals. ”

Recently, conflicts had intensified between regime support groups and units backed by the Syrian Free Army (ULS), which are backed by the US against DEAS south of Syria.
The United States has targeted pro-regime groups that were approaching the El Tanf camp, where the opposition were trained. Also, the US has crashed a Syrian plane, as well as a fear that has not yet been determined to belong to.
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as he made an assessment of the first conversation between Trump and Putin at the G-20 Summit, has indicated that the US and Russia had reached a ceasefire agreement in southwestern Syria and that this agreement would enter into force at 12 o'clock in Damascus.
