The director of many references to the Serbo-Russian Centre in Nis has declared that this centre is not spying, but is a humanitarian centre that helps the entire region fight fire, floods, mining, trains and many other things.

Centre Director Vyacheslav Nikolayevich Vlasenko has announced that on 12 July US representatives must visit this centre.

He added that the work of the transparent Centre is open to all.

The world's <x0Medias have not visited us, but since the beginning of the scriptures it is known that something is not right, there are arguments, but apparently with the position of enemy”, Vlasenko told Tanjug, commenting on the case of the current statement by American diplomats at the Serbo-rus Centre that is said to be potentially used for spying.

It has commemorated that the centre, which was founded on agreements between the Government of Serbia and Russia in 2012, mostly reacts to emergency situations.

The training has been carried out on the equipment they have here, as in the Russian Federation. It is also financed by Russia. In three years we have trained about 300 people”, Vlasenko added.

When asked what diplomatic status the centre -- which has been seriously politicised -- means, he said that in early 2012 in the middle of the Serbian government and Russian governments, an agreement on creation has been signed and not paying attention to the status issue.

“Centre is organised, they all said OK, we're friends, we're Orthodox, everything's going well, but after that, Serbia has signed an agreement on the EU Civil Protection Mechanism”, he added.

He also noted that when Serbia's Parliament has signed an agreement for co-operation in the area of logistical support from NATO and has given it diplomatic immunity there has also been the real beginning of the story about their status.

Unlike Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabyq a few days ago, he has declared that the status of the Serb-Russian Centre is Nis's priority for the new government, and promised it would work hard to resolve all outstanding issues so far.

We had hoped before and still have hope. We heard about it from Russian sources, and we read in Serbian newspapers. We've been working three years without status, and I think as much as I've read, we've been assessed by various sources successfully”, Vlasenko said.
