In June of this year, electricity cost more than 25 percent compared to the same month last year.
Price hikes also marked gas and fuels.
According to the Kosovo Statistics Agency's June consumer price index, higher prices have been registered than in the previous month.
Trees, currents, and fuels are the contributing to price hikes.
The overall harmonised consumption prices “is higher by 0.3% in June 2017, compared to May 2017. This is largely explained with the rise of consumer prices in COICOP subgroups: tree (5.6%); electricity, gas and other fuels (17.9%)-relevation of the price of electricity) with a common impact of these sub-groups of 0.9% on IHCK”, the ASS communiqué says.
Price reductions were in certain food products.
